When Aussies Pull Together – A New Political Party is Launched

We live in a remarkable country. And Aussies are a remarkable bunch. We have this wonderful ability to form a powerful force when we band together, that can overcome tremendous odds and right shocking wrongs. The ANZAC spirit. Being battlers from all walks of life, we tend to get our heads down and get on with the job. It takes a lot to upset us. It is only when the problems start harming our families in huge numbers that this “Aussie Phenomenon” occurs.

Australia is indeed approaching a watershed moment in history. We need to step back and look at the big picture. The very fabric of our society; the things we value most, are being threatened. It is time to act.

We are talking about corruption and greed, injustice in business, finance and politics and lack of proper accountability by those in authority. The result is the gap between rich and poor is widening. The elderly and disabled are more insecure. The children – our future – have fewer prospects. Our health and education systems are buckling under the pressure. And through all this, the mainstream political parties have failed to show the strong and wise leadership we need. Instead, the in-fighting has reached unprecedented levels. Most decent Aussies are saying “Enough!”

It is against this backdrop that a new political party has been launched - the Australian Voice Party. Formed to provide a channel for the needs of all Aussies to be heard and acted upon. After governments have ignored Aussies for so long, it is a Voice for the people. It seeks to bring leaders together in a spirit of cooperation, while taking a firm line against corruption, waste and poor leadership. New members are flocking in large numbers to join their support for the new party.

Australian Voice is led by renowned consumer advocate, Denise Brailey, President of the Banking & Finance Consumers Support Group (Inc). For the past two decades, Ms Brailey has been a tireless campaigner, championing the cause of older and low income Australians who have fallen victims to banking and finance scams. Ms Brailey believes the time is right to provide all Australians with a direct point of contact for important issues to be raised and acted upon.

“For far too long, the main parties have paid little attention to fundamental problems in this country. Unlike the out-dated two party system, the new party is structured on a 21st century model of Specialty Branches, where members and individuals sharing common interests and skills can contribute more meaningfully to the political and social health of the country”.

Australian Voice already has issues on its agenda, raised by supporters who have found AV’s new brand of politicians are prepared to listen to their needs. Topics cover consumer protection, banking and finance, manufacturing, agriculture, health and employment.

Ms Brailey extends an open invitation to Aussies from all walks of life to support Australian Voice. “If the numbers are large enough, we stand a real chance of changing the way government works. We can make a difference and drag politics into the 21st century. This means government can focus on areas that really matter to our people. We aim to put forward leaders who will earn voters trust by being more accountable and by putting peoples’ welfare ahead of political gain”.

Fantastic Brian, Australia come along for the ride. For far too long now we have been telling government there is the mother of all fraudulent scams being committed by the banks and non bank lenders here in this country of ours, and against Mr & Mrs Average Citisen, and not one of the major parties want to lift a finger against them, their regulators are lacking drive and hiding behind the banks, good heavens they are even employed by the banks, so how's that for fair go and setting stable regulations. Stealing peoples homes through their fraud is not acceptable. Remember what happened in America? well basically the same is happening here. Get on board !!!!!

That's great, Brian. Thankyou for this post.
For too long our parliament and political parties have adhered to outdated models from the past. This rear view thinking impairs their forward thinking and planning capacity. If we have learned our lessons from the past we can then move forward with added determination to take all the steps to ensure that the appropriate remedies have been applied. Unfortunately the new and progressive politician is systematically stymied and sabotaged by a bureaucracy which strongly resists change. Thus the process of government grinds to a halt and considerably less than planned is achieved in a parliamentary term.
Longer range vision is needed for good government and far more engagement with the real stakeholders: the citizens of Australia. I applaud any initiative that seeks a real and abiding commitment to this deeper grass roots democratic process. It is worth the effort by a sincere political party. At present too many good Aussies have been turned off politics and will need convincing that anyone really cares what they think, feel or want in a real and tangible way.
AV has grown from genuine grass roots despair with the present, unjust and inequitable systems. AV has a strong motivation to expose and clean up this dreadful financial mess based on individual and collective experience. This is the core and all the tendrils of corrupt conduct will be discovered and corrected along the way. No other party is likely to undertake this committed root and branch work. There is much to be done.
I'm looking forward to the election and to seeing AV on the tickets and then represented in our next parliament. The time is right and the action is necessary. Well done!

Collectivism at its finest moment and with an Aussie Voice

Thanks Brian. It's because of people such as yourself and others behind the scenes that have made this moment possible. We are indeed acting as One Voice in a common cause. At what stage does Bad Lending Practices, fraud and forgery not warrant a Royal Commission? Why have our 360 parliamentarians (Senator Williams the exception) not seen fit to demand a conscience vote on this issue? Why has the Government permitted the finance regulators such as ASIC, APRA, AFP, AOFM, RBA and Treasury, all on song, state "there are no systemic issues re Low Doc Lending?" Someone is lying to Parliament! We want a Fair Go and our members want JUSTICE. That can only be achieved by a Royal Commission into Banking. [email protected]

We Australians, have been most fortunate to have had the good life but which has caused us to become complacent whilst allowing these banksters and their associates to take advantage of our easy going laid back nature causing banking crime to run rampant crucifying thousands of Australian lives and leaving them destitute not to mention a financial burden on the Government.

This is the time that all aussies need to group together and stand fiercely in the name of justice for what we have worked all our lives for.
Our homes are our castles and WE CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT THEM, therefore one hell of a continuous racket needs to occur so loud that it will no longer fall on deaf ears.

This is our God given right to stand up and fight like we have never fought before.

Being ignored by our Politicians on such a serious matter is disrespectful and insulting - we have been treated like we don't exist for far too long but now we have a voice and all Aussies will hear us from far and wide and judge us to be the true voice that will restore law and order.
Thanks to you Brian and all others involved for your constructive actions in all of this - well done.

As Denise says we are just getting warmed up - victory will prevail.

Remember this - there are more of us than there is of them!!
