What BFCSA Does...

BFCSA investigates fraud involving lenders, spruikers and financial planners worldwide.  Full Doc, Low Doc, No Doc loans, Lines of Credit and Buffer loans appear to be normal profit making financial products, however, these loans are set to implode within seven years.  For the past two decades, Ms Brailey, President of BFCSA (Inc), has been a tireless campaigner, championing the cause of older and low income people around the Globe who have fallen victim to banking and finance scams.  She has found that people of all ages are being targeted by Bankers offering faulty lending products. BFCSA warn that anyone who has signed up for one of these financial products, is in grave danger of losing their home.

I have been trying to get my loan documents from the bank for sometime. If I eventually succeed and discover they are suspicious what is the next course of action? If it's in the hands of FOS do they act upon it and what can they do?

Alternatively if I don't receive them, even after refering the matter to FOS, what then? What happens when the lender flatly refuses to give you the docs?

I am also confused about loans taken out before the NCCP Act 2009. What Acts apply to these loans?

If the lender refuses to give you access to your LAF's and you want to have a look at them - (it is your right too), -be sure to tick the following box with your FOS complaint - it is under the Privacy and Confidentiality section - refusal to provide access to personal information held about a customer.
