What BFCSA Does...

BFCSA investigates fraud involving lenders, spruikers and financial planners worldwide.  Full Doc, Low Doc, No Doc loans, Lines of Credit and Buffer loans appear to be normal profit making financial products, however, these loans are set to implode within seven years.  For the past two decades, Ms Brailey, President of BFCSA (Inc), has been a tireless campaigner, championing the cause of older and low income people around the Globe who have fallen victim to banking and finance scams.  She has found that people of all ages are being targeted by Bankers offering faulty lending products. BFCSA warn that anyone who has signed up for one of these financial products, is in grave danger of losing their home.

Start A 'Hall Of Fame'

For the purpose of bringing more exposure to the banking corruption along with the AFP and other State Police bodies' failure to investigate these acts of forgery and fraud, I strongly urge BFCSA and it's members to begin 'taking note' of those good journalists around the country that are willing to shine a light on what is going on in this area.

I would firstly like to congratulate and thank Anthony Klan of The Australian for his ongoing work. Next up for a mention is Natalie Gerritsen from the Financial Review for her piece on Sean Butler's plight. I have not had time to check whether Ms Gerritsen has written more articles on the topic. Perhaps other members could assist as well in this?

Let's start a 'Hall of Fame' for journalists, politicians and other players that do the right thing in assisting those who have had bank fraud perpetrated against them.

It would be a good complement to the Hall Of Shame that already exists.

Editor:  Good thought.  We have plenty of Journalists and Reporters writing our message from the Eastern States and including overseas publications and interests.  Problem for Western parochial here..... and only one contact from local paper.  We are so isolated here and miss all main stream news.  Midland and Northam readers will have a wonderful time this week reading their publication this week...  Go the ECHO.

I suggest you ring and order your copy and thanks Rashelle.

That's a wonderful idea, last-laf. I agree about the honey. There is so much dirt and tackiness in dealing with the dark side of banking, that until recently was a dirty big secret. Now it's out, thanks to the contribution and commitment of Denise and BFCSA, but also the work of great writers like Anthony Klan and others at the Australian and elsewhere, bold and caring leaders and politicians (e.g. Senator Williams, Senator Cameron), TV/Radio presenters who will go well beyond their job descriptions and champion our cause.
I'll keep an eye out online as well. I've just noticed that Leith van Olesen retweeted my tweet on the 7.30pm report. I thanked him. EVery bit helps move our field of nightmares closer to a field of dreams.

Great idea. We all like a bit of recognition for a job well done, particularly when one has the courage to tackle the hard issues.

Thanks guys, I appreciate that we all think it's worth doing. Knowing how busy DB is, and therefore getting a major section added to the site would probably take more time, risking the idea losing momentum, why don't we just start listing those journo's and pollies that deserve a rap, right here in this thread? As it grows, as we hope it will, the list can be given to the site administrator to then create the new section from it. What do you think? Any further suggestions? I'm upping John Williams, Nationals Senator for his efforts to date in the Senate Committee Inquiry. He punched on hard and that's what we need to get results.
