What BFCSA Does...

BFCSA investigates fraud involving lenders, spruikers and financial planners worldwide.  Full Doc, Low Doc, No Doc loans, Lines of Credit and Buffer loans appear to be normal profit making financial products, however, these loans are set to implode within seven years.  For the past two decades, Ms Brailey, President of BFCSA (Inc), has been a tireless campaigner, championing the cause of older and low income people around the Globe who have fallen victim to banking and finance scams.  She has found that people of all ages are being targeted by Bankers offering faulty lending products. BFCSA warn that anyone who has signed up for one of these financial products, is in grave danger of losing their home.

Hi All

Denise works so hard and smart for us all, and now has around 30+ Members actively working spreading the word on the BFCSA and its activities.

I know that there are those working behind the scenes doing great work. Others want to help, but for a host of reasons are not able to contribute as much as they wish.  However the majority, more than 700 Members are still to do their bit: - a few suggestions:

Walk into your local Parliamentarians office and say "Hello" most MP's love a visit, makes them feel good.  Make an appointment for FRIDAYS as that is their "Constituency Day."

Phone your local or state newspaper and give your own story, or tell them of Denise and the BFCSA. Most editors are dying to get good news.  ECHO in Midland and Northam WA is about to do an expose......

See if you can raise awareness of the BFCSA at your local club.  Get to know how to work Twitter, etc. So easy. Your Children and Grand children can show you.  Same goes for Blogging on this site, such a cinch. If anyone wants a simple lesson on Blogging - you can learn on Google, or other BFCSA Bloggers, including myself, can walk you through.  Denise said she is gong to set up a Twitter account....with help from her grandkids....

However, if you are not able for any reason, don't worry. You belong to a 'Humanitarian' Club where we are supported by each other.

Note: I hope all, like my family and self, enjoyed the 7.30 report tonight. A possible follow up tomorrow. Great viewing of Denise and enviable mug shots of the lucky ones who made it to Canberra.

Editor:  You were all there in spirit, glued to your computers or Foxtel and I am so proud of each one of you....well done for all your support and big big hugs xxx  ...denise

    Lovely post, John, and thankyou.
There's a magazine for Australian Seniors that is issued for free: The Senior. I picked up a copy at the chemists.
This is the contact email: [email protected]
I'm wondering if they might do a full story on the impact that this dreadful bank business has had on Australian Senior citizens?
I hate to think of elderly people like my Mum and my Grandma being put through the disgusting and debasing treatment that I went through.
There may be so many more of them out there, frightened and ashamed to tell what happened.
Maybe The Senior magazine can reach them.
The other idea I had was to contact all the in home and outreach service providers like OzCare, Vinnies, Salvos and others. They can be on the lookout for these poor souls, trapped at home and often in dire situations.
I was lucky just kept asking for help until someone recommended BFCSA (thankyou to Roger @bankcustomers).
This is a Humanitarian Club - that's why I keep coming back and doing what little I can with my trusty old computer to get the word out.
What we've seen on in the media is a taste of things to come.
The apparent success of our Aussie banks could turn out to be riding on the backs of those beautiful people we saw in Canberra. Exploitation of the elderly is NO CAUSE FOR BACK SLAPPING CELEBRATION.
It's about time that Canberra rolled up it's sleeves and got cracking on the BANKING ROYAL COMMISSION Terms of Reference. If they don't we'll write it for them.
If our elected representatives fail our elderly citizens and the vulnerable in our society they have failed utterly in their job and someone better should be found to replace them.
The world has changed. We will not tolerate this abuse of the elderly, disabled and vulnerable.
I can see a "Twitter Royal Commission into Banking" coming with Trial by Social Media.
People are informed and armed with "word of mouse".
Is that what our Australian Government would prefer perhaps?
