What BFCSA Does...

BFCSA investigates fraud involving lenders, spruikers and financial planners worldwide.  Full Doc, Low Doc, No Doc loans, Lines of Credit and Buffer loans appear to be normal profit making financial products, however, these loans are set to implode within seven years.  For the past two decades, Ms Brailey, President of BFCSA (Inc), has been a tireless campaigner, championing the cause of older and low income people around the Globe who have fallen victim to banking and finance scams.  She has found that people of all ages are being targeted by Bankers offering faulty lending products. BFCSA warn that anyone who has signed up for one of these financial products, is in grave danger of losing their home.

Dear members

Any casual observer to our site might think at present we are only talking about the Senate submissions and rightly so. From personal experience we have been lobbying Canberra for six years and have had no response from numerous personal letters, it's only in-house letters from our local federal MP that rated a response due to parliamentary protocol.

This new coalition government is still on a learning curve but at least acknowledge there is a problem in the banking sector that requires a root and branch investigation and if Joe Hockey doesn't come good his words will come back to haunt him. For the first time in six years the joint prospect of a Senate hearing into ASIC and a parliamentary hearing into the banks is a huge leap forward although I don't approve of the government consulting with the banksters before it starts.

Many bfcsa members as well as Denise have been asking everyone to put in submissions.  If you as a member don't submit depending on the few to carry the majority, your chance will be lost.  Now is your chance to speak up.  The conditions are most favourable to us now..

As of today Bill Shorten is leader of the Labor party.  As Attorney General he told us and other bfcsa members to seek independent legal advice.  Earlier this year he didn't even reply to a request from our local MP even though political protocol required it. Bill Shorten stated in the run up to the Labor leader ballot that if elected he would be the voice for the voiceless.  I'm not affiliated with any party but Bill Shorten has no interest in our plight and therefore his party will have to follow suit now.

This week the Palmer party aligned itself with the Motorist Party thus giving them the balance of power in the Senate as of July next year. The reason I'm pursueing this tact is we will only have a fairly stable government till July next year.  I watched Clive Palmer trot his people out for the media interview.  He truly is the puppet master and what he says goes. I haven't got a crystal ball so don't know what deals have to be done for the government to function from July next year but it doesn't bode well.

This is our last chance to make a difference  and remember out of the ninety nine submissions posted not all are from bfcsa members. ASIC has replied as well as some lenders who are incensed that someone would call their lending institutions into question. The lenders are fighting back already even before the hearings starts.

The more submissions the more bullets in Denise's arsenal when she stands before the Senators on our behalf.  Many bfcsa members have committed to travel to Canberra to give Denise the moral support she so richly deserves because when ASIC state "if she has so many members where are the submissions?" she can at least say here are some samples behind me in the flesh and if required I would gladly answer any questions from the Senators and not the sanitized versions ASIC wants everyone to believe.

We have a limited time of stable government before the horse trading starts next July. If you don't act now then resolve yourself to the fact that you didn't play your part and if you're not capable of submitting let bfcsa know because we are all here to help. Thanks Neil T.

    Well said Neil

I still find it hard to believe that people are sitting on their hands and leaving this up to someone else to do the work. People please look at this the way it needs to be seen, one real chance to make a difference for yourself. If you have not been a contributor before this is the one time you must excel nothing big just ten to twenty lines, less than one page is not a lot to ask. Your pen will be your voice on the big stage, make the life changing mark on your own future but do it now and dont lament the chance you had to make the change.
