Thanks again Lisa It appears to be all hands on deck and well done to all who have assisted me and especially to "Bobbi" who brought me breakfast on Weds morning as she knew I would not have had time given the oh so busy schedule we had lined up.  I started preparing again at 4am..... All of those who attended Parliament House with me......you did us proud People ask me why I do whatever it is I do.  That is such an easy question to answer...the moment I turned around and saw all your beaming happy faces and all the hugs and emotions in that room....were worth ever effort of assisting those who need help.  You have therefore experienced a truly historic moment in time! Well done!  And for all those at home glued to the hearing, your thoughts and prayers were with each one of us. Yes indeed, getting...

Firstly, let me introduce myself. My name is Lindie Mehan & my submission to this inquiry was published at # 69. It may only be a light-weight 4 pages long however, there is a 6 year (almost 7) history behind that backing up my submission. That timeframe has seen me visit some very deep dark places & now there is only ice cold anger at the processes I have been subjected to - very un-Australian processes from quite a few different directions.   Today I watched the Senate Inquiry via live streaming on my computer. Denise Brailey has her finger on the pulse which is far more than the other entities presented had. She disclosed how the banks & ASIC would try to blame the brokers well ahead of this inquiry. Please check her blogs on the website: www.bfcsa.com.au/index.php/easyblog Denise has been spelling out quite clearly what is not working, what is fraudulent, what is...

HOPING TODAY MAY BE A TURNING POINT FOR ALL OF US AND TO FREE US OF THIS MESS CREATED BY THE BANKS GREED. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU DENISE IN CANBERRA TODAY...WITHOUT YOU I MOST CERTAINLY WOULD HAVE GIVEN UP THE FIGHT AGAINST RHG AND THEIR PERSISTENT GRAB AT MY HOME FOR THE LAST 5YEARS. WISHING YOU THE STRENGTH OF OUR TRUTH THROUGHOUT THE DAY. How long do documents have to be kept. I took out a mortgage through a White Just & Moore solicitors in 1996 and refinanced so many times since for the farm. I tried to get the LAP from them this morning and was told by the girl these documnets had all been destroyed,  to try Latrobe Financial who took all the mortages over from White Just & Moore about 5 years later. I won't bother Denise as know she is busy getting ready for Canberra. Thanks...

I am so proud of all of you. It appears we have  a large number of people heading to the Capital on Tuesday and Weds for the Wednesday Senate Inquiry (Economics Committee) into Post GFC - Banking System.  People are travelling from QLD, NSW and Victoria and they carry the praises of Members living in WA, Tassie and SA, as well as NZ Members. I am proud of you all, that you have rallied to the cause, are prepared to speak out.  You have all conducted yourselves with dignity and respect during a very emotional and stressful time of your lives that has overwhelmed the senses that our bankers could be so cruel as to engage in predatory lending. There are conservatively,  over 100,000 families affected by this problem.  How does Australia house all these families if the banker culprits are permitted to repossess homes and be rewarded for their criminal activities. As a nation we have not escaped...

Dear Members, Thought I'd share with you that each bank should have the Code Of Banking Practice brochures within the branches. For Bank West customers here is the link http://www.bankwest.com.au/about-us/legal-stuff/code-of-banking-practice# In the contents it contains how to obtain copies of documents etc. For all other banks if you googled in the search engine your bank followed by Code Of Banking Practice it should give you the results.   Good Luck! xx          ...

Hi Denise & Members, There were a couple of things on Denise's email that was sent today that i just need some help to understood. You complain to FOS online and appoint me your auth rep - So we file a complaint with FOS via their website - can anyone pls provide a direct link to where we are suppose to be filing our dispute - just to make sure we all filing our complaints into the right area.  Are we also appointed a auth rep once a complaint is filed? You explain to FOS there is Maladministration in Lending, you wish to have payments frozen and you wish to have a thorough investigation into the bank re “imprudent lending and affordability issues.” - Is this basically all we need to tell them? The FOS template is for when I write to FOS and will be sent to all of you...

Looking at Lisa Marr's post, I realised that most new members will benefit from Denise's instructional email 21st July 12. Message to all Members in your own interest:My apologies if I have not conveyed to all of you what this help system is all about.I thought it was a very simple easy system that we have developed, but a few of you are going around in circles. Please do not send me large packets of documents. It’s simply not necessary. If we were going to court yes and then, we could only handle say five clients at best! The BFCSA structure is more of a self help way forward without the cost of court and better and quicker results. We know that.Last night I spent 8 hours opening 42 BIG packets and one lady sent me 20kg of parcels. Another sent me a box full! I can only store them in a shed and...
